City of Arlington is excited to announce that they are now an approved acceptance agent for the United States Passport Service.

Passport Processing Hours

We are open to process passport applications during the following hours: Monday and Tuesday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Wednesday Closed, Thursday-Friday 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. The last application will be accepted at 3:45 p.m. to meet US Post Office schedules for mailing.

First Time Applicants

All applicants must be present at the time of application. Applicants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by both parents. Form DS-11 can be downloaded at U.S. Department of State Passport Page. This form is also available for pick up at the City of Arlington Finance Department.

Renewals

Passport renewals (Form DS-82) cannot be processed at an acceptance facility. All renewals are required to be mailed in. You can print your renewal application at U.S. Department of State Passport Page. This form is also available for pick up at the City of Arlington Finance Department.

Current Processing Times

  • 6 – 8 weeks for routine processing
  • 2 – 3 weeks for expedited processing
