Hometown Holidays Kick-Off/Open House, 
Small Business Saturday 
Olympic Avenue will be up for an evening of shopping and fun 4 to 7 p.m. A portion of the downtown will be shut off to traffic for fire pits, caroling, and cheer. Businesses will stay open late to ring in the holiday season.

Tree Lighting at 5PM at Legion Park

Holiday Charm Walk:   Join us for a fun holiday-themed scavenger hunt through downtown Arlington!  Participants will receive an unadorned charm bracelet and then collect charms and beads as they tour our fun downtown shops.  Sponsored by Stilly Valley Chamber of Commerce.


Nov 24 Shop Small Hometown Holiday 4:00-7:00pm. Tree lighting at 5pm.

Saturday December 1

Santa Breakfast 8:30 am and 10:30am: Santa Breakfast Tickets are $15 and is put on by the Arlington Education Fundraiser. Located at Presidents Elementary, 505 E Third Street Arlington

Holiday Charm Walk Dec 1 & 2 and Dec 8 &9 Holiday themed charms from downtown  businesses will fill your bracelet!  https://www.stillyvalleychamber.com/holiday-charm-walk/

11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Fire pit, S'mores, and Crafts with Lifeway Church at Legion Park. Arlington Scouts will have fire pits and s’mores available. Music groups will also be performing in the park.

Santa Parade at Noon:  on Olympic Avenue Welcome Santa Claus to town! Join the parade with a donation of can food. Line-up is at 11:30 at 5th Street on Olympic Avenue. Sponsored by City of Arlington. We are seeking entrants for this fun event. Pre-register at City Hall or the day-of parade at the line up (Olympic Avenue between 5th St and Division Street) at 11:15 a.m. Viewing area will be available on sidewalk from 3rd Street to Legion Park. Prize for best parade entry - sponsored by Arlington Lifeway. Gather after parade at Legion Park for announcement.  the Festive Sweater Contest, caroling and fun. Santa will be available for visits and photos (bring your camera) at the park directly after parade.

The Santa Parade Application Form can be submitted online here or at line-up on the day of the parade or mailed to: City of Arlington Recreation Department at 238 N Olympic Avenue Arlington, WA 98223. If you have additional questions please call 360-403-3448.Entry fee is a donation for the Arlington Food Bank. Cookies with Mrs. Claus  3pm at Reclaimed Heart

Wagon Rides 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.: Wagon Rides on Olympic Avenue, free, sponsored by Downtown Arlington Business Association

Visits with Santa, 1 to 3 p.m.: Santa Visits in the Gazebo at Legion Park. Free bring your camera. Legion Park is located at

Holiday Movies 2 p.m.: This event is free, sponsored by Arlington Lifeway. Charlie Brown Christmas movie and Grinch that Stole Christmas movie at the Olympic Theater, which is located at: 107 N Olympic Avenue Arlington

Handmade Holiday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vendor fair at Pioneer Hall and is sponsored by Arlington Farmers Market. Pioneer Hall is located at 20722 67th Avenue NE Arlington, WA 98223

Friday, December 7

Community Christmas at the Stillaguamish Athletic Club, 5:30-7:30PM. Free event open to public. Crafts, photos with Santa, elf obstacle course and refreshments.

The Improvised Nutcracker 7PM-8:30PM at the Byrnes Performing Arts Center www.calvaryarlington.com.  Free event. An improvised tale inspired by the Nutcracker with Taproot's Improv Team.  

Holiday Movie at Olympic Theater at 7PM. The Man Who Invented Christmas. $5 per individual or $20 family, includes popcorn and water. Proceeds support Compassion First.

Hot Cocoa Run 9 a.m.  sponsored by the Arlington Runners Club

Wagon Rides 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.: Wagon Rides on Olympic Avenue, sponsored by Downtown Arlington Business Association

Sunday, December 9

Christmas Choruses from Handel's Messiah 3PM at the Byrnes Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $5 each or $15 per family at the door.  A variety of local musical ensembles, culminating with the most popular Christmas choruses from Handel's Messiah. The choruses will be presented by a large community choir and accompanied by a local chamber orchestra.

AHS's Flight Christmas Spectacular Show, 5:30PM and 8PM at the Byrnes Performing Arts Center. Cost is $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students.
