This Commission consists of five members that will study the relationship of the salaries for each elected position. To be eligible to serve on the commission, applicants must be at least 21 years old, registered to vote, and live inside City of Arlington city limits. City of Arlington employees, officials, or immediate family members of any official or employee are ineligible.
About the Commission
The City adopted an ordinance on January 26, 2015 to establish a Citizen Salary Review Commission. This Commission will periodically review the salaries of the City’s elected officials. The purpose is to ensure that per diem reimbursement and salaries of elected officials are based on realistic standards according to their duties.
