Participants will learn how to assess their trees, avoid insect and disease problems, enhance wildlife habitat, avoid getting fleeced when selling logs, assess their soils, reduce wildfire risk around their homes, and take other practical steps to keep their land problem-free to provide enjoyment and even income for years to come. During the course participants will develop a personalized Forest Stewardship Plan, which qualifying landowners can use to lower their property taxes.
