Snohomish County to Resume Management of Twin Rivers Park from City of Arlington

Twin Rivers Park, located just outside of the City of Arlington, is now maintained and managed by Snohomomish County Park, Recreation and Tourism Department, as of June 16, 2020. This county park has been maintained by the City of Arlington for many years in response to the community’s desire for athletic fields.  After discussions with the county, the city has terminated the agreement to provide maintenance due to the city’s reduced and limited availably of maintenance personnel to properly maintain the park.   Snohomish County will be meeting with athletic field users to discuss future uses of the park. During the interim and in response to COVID-19 Phased approach, the fields will not be mowed for athletic practices and games. The disc golf course and walking trails will remain open.
