Meet me in Arlington for Hometown Holidays Celebration
Arlington, Washington, is beginning to look a lot like a scene from a Christmas storybook. The historic downtown main street will transcend you into a magical holiday-land on Saturday, November 25 and December 2.
Brightly colored lights will adorn the main street park, where the town’s Christmas Tree will be lit at 5:00 p.m. on November 25. Join in the caroling as we welcome this special season to Arlington. The main street will be closed for the evening for strolling and shopping in the charming downtown stores. Classic cars with creative light displays will line the streets. Join the charm bracelet walk and shop the craft bazaar and outdoor holiday market. Visitors will enjoy fire pits and roasting marshmallows, while visiting with special guests, Olaf, Rudolf, and Minions. A surprise snow flurry makes the evening even more magical! Children can visit with Mrs. Claus and even get a signed copy of the newly released Hometown Holidays book, which embraces all the town’s favorite hometown festivities. End the evening with a free showing of a Christmas movie at the historic Olympic Theater.
Hometown Holidays continues on Saturday December 2. Meet me in Arlington for the Santa Parade at noon! Arlington welcomes Santa and all his helpers to town with this charming parade on main street. Santa and Mrs. Claus visit with families for photos in the park gazebo. Enjoy more caroling and entertainment from the park’s stage. Visit the outdoor holiday market, shop, and dine in Arlington.
Free tractor-wagon rides will show you around town. Hop on the holiday carousel or Ferris Wheel for more holiday magic! Meet me in Arlington for your family’s holiday traditions.
