Free Community Fun Day

Enjoy our Free Airport Community Day, with more information coming soon. In years past our activities have included:

  • Free airplane rides for kids (ages 8-17): 
  • Kids: would you like to take a ride in an airplane? You may be able to do just that!  The EAA Young Eagles program will be at Fun Day Sunday. More information coming soon. Remember, it requires your parent’s permissions, and you need to bring them with you to our event!
  • Fly-overs

  • Paint an airplane

Young Eagle Flights

Sunday, August 21

Register for a FREE Young Eagles flight on August 21st at Arlington Municipal Airport starting at 9:00 am. 

You will spend about 15 to 20 minutes in the air and follow the basic steps in the flight pattern. 

Experience the awesome feeling of flight that many people only dream about! Flights are conducted according to federal regulations and no aerobatic maneuvers will be performed.
