Meetings

Meeting are the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., unless there is a Monday holiday, in which case, the meetings are moved to the following Thursday.

Starting on March 3, 2026, all Planning Commission Workshops and Meetings will start at 6:00 p.m.

  • 1st Tuesday of the month is a Planning Commission Workshop and is located at Putnam Hall in the Airport Office, 18204 59th Avenue NE, Arlington
  • The 3rd Tuesday of the month is the Planning Commission Meeting and is located at the City Council Chambers, 110 E. Third Street, Arlington 

Planning Commission Meetings (3rd Tuesdays) are streamed live on YouTube at City of Arlington WA - YouTube.

Public Comment: 
When not attending the meeting in person, you may provide written or oral public comment. To provide oral comment through Microsoft Teams, you must pre-register to speak by 5:00 p.m. of the Monday prior to the scheduled meeting by filling out this form or by calling 360-403-3551. Prior to the meeting, directions will be emailed to you by 5:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. If you have any questions, please contact the Community & Economic Development Department at 360-403-3551.

If you would like to submit written public comment only, you may do so in the written comment section of the form. Written comment must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. the Monday prior to the scheduled meeting.

Both written and oral public comment will be documented as public comment.

About the Commission

The five members of the commission are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. The Planning Commission is an advisory board to the Council charged with helping develop the City’s plans and development regulations.
