Arlington is a picturesque community nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains at the fork of the Stillaguamish River. We are proud of our community engagement and commitment to preserving the historical beauty of our city. Our charming main street is quaint with local shopping and business opportunities. We offer an abundance of year round community activities that bring visitors from all around to enjoy our community involvement programs and family activities, including the annual Arlington Fly-In, Fourth of July parade, street fair, farmers market, winter wagon rides with Hometown Holidays, Show and Shine Car Show, and many more. The Centennial Trail is a popular biking and walking trail and don't miss the Art Walk through town. Centennial Trail
The Centennial Trail cuts right through the center of Arlington, offering a 10 foot paved trail to travel to the Skagit County border to the north and the City of Snohomish to the south (trail is approximately 22 miles).
Golf Course
Arlington is also home to Glen Eagle Golf Course, a challenging 18-hole course. Glen Eagle Golf Course also boasts a full clubhouse and restaurant.
Stillaguamish River
The Stillaguamish River provides visitors a refreshing break year round. Fishing and floating and are popular activities on the river. The Stilly Duck Dash is always a favorite on the Fourth of July. Riverfront parks include Haller Park, Stormwater Wetland Park, and Twin Rivers Park.
Shopping
Arlington has hundreds of different shopping options to choose from. Historic downtown Arlington and the Smokey Point District provide a variety of retail stores, boutiques, and restaurants for all tastes. The Stilly Valley Chamber of Commerce maintains an online directory of the more than 500 Arlington businesses.
Community Events
Arlington hosts two farmers markets. The is a large Fourth of July celebration, music in the park series, car shows, a street fair, the Arlington Fly-In at Arlington Airport. Also, the Stillaguamish Eagle Festival, Hometown Holidays, and many more events. Click here for event listing.
