Useless Plastic Booth
Saturday, 10am-3pm
Single-use plastic has increased its insidious grip on our society… it's everywhere you look. Many fish species mistake plastics and microplastics for food, which then accumulate in the eagles that consume the fish. The very properties that make plastic durable, colorful, malleable and indestructible are the properties that are causing grave harm to the planet and now, mounting evidence shows, in our bodies and in our ecosystem. It's easy to feel helpless. But there IS something we can do to stem the endless tide of single-use plastic. Come to our booth at Eagle Fest to learn about single-use plastic while playing carnival-style games!
