A strategic plan provides direction, promotes transparency, and enhances the overall effectiveness of a police department. It’s a vital tool for achieving organizational goals while maintaining public trust. This report is the result of several months of assessment and planning that involved a diverse strategic planning committee representing the Arlington Police Department, City of Arlington, Council Members, and Community Stakeholders.
