Water Treatment Plant Expansion

Project Description

The City of Arlington will be expanding its water treatment capacity with the addition of additional filtration units.  The additional filtration unit will be located in a new filtration building that will be constructed on the site of the old water treatment plant filtration building.

  • Sept 16, 2021 - Design awarded to BHC Consultants
  • October 28, 2022 - Asbestos Abatement to begin week of November 7th. 
  • August 8, 2023 - WTP at 30% design, Working with Snohomish PUD to underground overhead electric wires serving Utility Plant in order to proceed with old plant demolition.
